Dan Longden is a flameworker and pipe maker from central Massachusetts, where he has spent most of his life. He has been interested in flameworking since the time he was old enought to be in a hot shop, and developed an early interest for the creation and culture of pipe making. Dan's current work is focused on paying homage to the makers who pioneered the designs and shapes of modern pipes, while finding new uses for color and form. When he is not making pipes, Dan can be found in nature exploring new places.
